How I work
My background spans IT operations, cloud infrastructure, and web development, shaped by real world experience running a small business, doing freelance technical work, and building hands on projects from scratch. That range has made me adaptable and practical, especially in environments where you have to diagnose problems and keep moving.
I’m drawn to work with a clear technical outcome: keeping systems healthy, diagnosing what is broken, improving access and reliability, or building something that did not exist before.
Infrastructure & identity
I built a Windows Server lab environment with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, organizational units, Group Policy, security groups, and practical identity administration workflows. The environment gives me repeatable hands on practice with the kinds of user, policy, access, and network issues that appear in real IT environments.
Cloud & automation
I built and deployed a serverless application on AWS using S3, CloudFront, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway. The infrastructure is managed with CloudFormation and AWS SAM, with deployment automated through GitHub Actions.
Security direction
Security is where I’m heading. I hold CompTIA Security+ and have applied security fundamentals throughout my lab work, including access control, Group Policy enforcement, MFA, and patch management. I continue building security operations skills through hands on labs and independent study.
